Firstenberg and Salas combine to write a useful guide for the innovative inventor intent on developing their wares for the Google Glass wearable device. Rather than focusing solely on the meat and potatoes of code and syntax, their intent is to give the reader a glimpse into the minds of the original designers of Glass as a platform. The bulk of the book is used to give the reader the best methods when conceptualizing Glass applications so that they can provide the user with a cohesive experience with Glass, its operating system and all other Glass apps.
It is a journey into the mindset of Google, the Glass development team and the vision that they have for Glass as a wearable device and development platform. This is definitely a must read for any would-be Glass app developers and is essential to supplement any of the other Glass publications out there.
